New Battleground: War in the Hinterlands (Level 30+)

We are thrilled to unveil our latest addition to the Vanilla Plus experience: War in the Hinterlands. This new battleground draws inspiration from the beloved Eye of the Storm, but with a unique twist that immerses you in the rich lore and fierce conflicts of Azeroth.

Location and Lore: Nestled between the Hinterlands and the Plaguelands lies a small, yet strategically vital valley where the rivers Thondroril and Hinterflow converge. This area has become a battleground for the Revantusk Trolls and the Wildhammer Clan, each vying for control over its abundant resources and crucial position. Supported by the Horde and the Alliance, these two factions engage in a relentless struggle for dominance.

The Conflict: The Wildhammer Dwarves and the Forest Trolls have a long-standing enmity rooted in the history of Vanilla WoW. The Wildhammer Clan, known for their fierce independence and mastery of gryphon riding, have always sought to protect their ancestral lands and maintain their sovereignty. On the other hand, the Revantusk Tribe, with their deep connection to nature and ancient magic, view the Wildhammer’s expansion as a threat to the delicate balance of the Hinterlands.

Battleground Details:

Level Requirement: 30 or higher

Objective: Capture and hold key strategic points while fending off the opposing faction. Utilize the terrain and resources to gain an advantage in this epic power struggle.
